To begin the adoption process, please contact us regarding the pet that you are interested in to set up a meeting date and time with the adoptable pet and foster parent. All interested applicants must complete an adoption application for the pet that you are interested in. Applications are considered in the order in which they are received, you may choose to complete the application before or after meeting the pet that you are interested in.

One of our volunteers will review the application and contact you via email or phone to ask any questions that we might have. We also reserve the right to perform a home visit for any adoption. During a home visit, a Catering to Cats and Dogs volunteer will come to your house to see where your new pet will live.

If you are not sure which one of our adoptable pets would be right for you, please contact us and we would be happy to advise you as to which pet may be a match, just let us know what you are looking for.

Once your application is approved and a match is found, you will be required to sign an adoption contract (click here for an adoption contract) and pay the recovery fee (click here for information on fees).
